Bob is currently the CEO of Pinebrook Family Answers, and previously served as the Executive Director of Pinebrook Family Services for eight years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the York College of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Marywood College. Bob has devoted his entire career to promoting the well-being and self-sufficiency of children, young adults and their families. In 1980, he began his career working in the public-sector juvenile justice field before transitioning to the private, charitable community.

In 1985, Bob joined Pinebrook as a foster care caseworker. Shortly thereafter his administrative career began at the agency, culminating with his appointment to the Executive Director in July 2006. Bob is involved with a number of local and statewide professional and community organizations, including being the past president of the governance board of the Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth and Family Services, a well-respected statewide membership association of more than 130 private child- and family-serving agencies. Bob is also a member of the Carbon County Reentry Coalition and Carbon County Criminal Justice Advisory Board. His strong belief that both private- and public-sector human services agencies must strive to achieve best practice in service delivery and management, has led him to become a volunteer peer reviewer and team leader with the Council on Accreditation.

Bob credits his fulfilling career to several members of his extended family, who, without their unwavering support and encouragement during his own young adulthood, he would have traveled down a very different path in life.
