JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Sr. Clinical Program Manager, the Clinical Program Manager supervises the work of interns and selected clinicians in the Agency’s Outpatient Psychiatric Program; this may include working at multiple sites. S/he supervises master’s-level interns and clinicians applying for state licensure. S/he may provide direct counseling services to selected clients.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a master’s degree in counseling, social work or a related discipline and one of the following licenses: LPC, LMFT or LCSW, and a minimum of five years’ counseling experience within the last ten years. Additional experience of at least three years as a supervisor in an outpatient setting with a fee-for-service billing structure is preferred. The incumbent must possess an understanding of managed care, financial productivity requirements and quality assurance programs. It is essential that the Clinical Supervisor demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic differences present among the Agency’s defined service population.
