JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of the program supervisor, the incumbent in this position prepares all required studies for children and families who are eligible for adoption. S/he may also train prospective adoptive families as part of the Family Profile process.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services and at least one year’s experience in child welfare, preferably adoption services. The incumbent must demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural differences present among the Agency’s defined service population. Excellent writing, computer, and organizational skills are required. An excellent driving record, reliable car and proper liability insurance on his/her vehicle is also necessary.
