Do you know someone? Someone who could change a child’s life?

Do you know someone? Someone who could change a child’s life? A friend, a neighbor, a coworker, a family member.

You may already know someone who would make a great foster parent — a friend, neighbor, coworker, family member or someone in your community.

Who can become a foster parent?

Foster parents come from all walks of life. They may be couples, married or unmarried, single people, professionals, blue-collar workers or stay-at-home parents, and they come from many different races and ethnic backgrounds.

Your race, gender, sexual orientation, profession or the type of home you live in does not automatically exclude you from becoming a foster parent. You do need to meet Pinebrook’s requirements and have space in your home — and in your life — to care for a child.

Who are the foster children?

Children in foster care may range from infancy through age 21. They may be individuals or siblings and come from many different races, cultures and backgrounds.

They are children from our communities who have experienced trauma and need a safe, nurturing home with caring adults where they can heal, grow and thrive.
